Alex-CandidAlexander Intriago joined The Executive Compensation Group in 2013. Alex draws on his experience in financial services to assist individuals and business owners, paying particular attention to each client’s unique planning needs. He specializes in estate planning, long-term care insurance, disability insurance and family financial planning. Alex currently holds his Florida state Life, Health and Variable Annuity License as well as his Series 6 Securities License. He is also licensed in Georgia.

In 2015, Alex was named one of Volusia and Flagler County’s “40 Under 40: Most Influential Business Leaders” by the Daytona Beach News-Journal. Prior to joining ECG, he worked for Gateway Bank of Florida where he played a key role in marketing the bank and managing relationships in the community. His efforts helped contribute to the bank’s success by attracting key deposit clients.

A Daytona Beach area native, Alex has a strong desire to give back and be involved in the community. He is very active in his church and has served as the Chairman of the Port Orange Youth Advisory Board. He volunteers his time with local political groups and currently sits on the Investor Relations Committee for Team Volusia Economic Development Committee. Alex also is on the Board of Directors for the Halifax Foundation as well as the VYPG. In addition, he is a member of the Estate Planning Council of the Fun Coast, a Member Council of the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils (NAEPC), which encompasses Volusia, Flagler, and St. John counties. Alex is a Jacksonville Jaguar season ticket holder and enjoys playing golf.
